BeGe Club is suitable for young people who:
ask for additional consultations in Bulgarian to be more confident that they understand well what they have learned in class
want to work together on specific gaps in the Bulgarian language
have an independent external evaluation coming up and we can practice together for that

• Bulgarian language consultations are free of charge.
  They are suitable for students from 7th grade, but not only!
  They take place every Wednesday and last one school lesson.

The event is organized by the European Committee of the Regions (CoR) and takes place every two years, with the host city for 2022 being Marseille, France. It will take place from 3 to 4 March and will aim to engage local and regional politicians from across the EU in the debate on the future of Europe.

The theme of the exhibition is related to the challenges of local and regional governance in the context of sustainability and innovation. Innovative democratic practices, approaches to revitalize local economies, rapid response schemes for health crises or innovative policies to deal with migration flows will be shared through the exhibition. Democracy in the European Union and youth engagement and European values in the context of the European Year of Youth (2022) are a special focus of the 9th European Youth Summit and the accompanying exhibition.
Through its participation in the exhibition, Stara Zagora Municipality was selected among 60 other EU applicants to present and will share the best practices of the International Youth Centre in the city, which is the first in the country to be awarded with the prestigious Council of Europe Quality Label. Over the last year and a half, the International Youth Centre has expanded the scope of its activities through funding under the European Economic Area Financial Mechanism's Local Development, Poverty Reduction and Improved Inclusion of Vulnerable Groups Program. The exhibition will present the main areas of work of the center and the mechanisms through which it reaches a wider range of young people who are engaged in the training activities of the IYC.

The team of the International Youth Center - Stara Zagora will take part in a conference on Building Capacity for Educational and Social Inclusion of Vulnerable Groups at the invitation of the Center for Educational Integration of Children and Students from Ethnic Minorities (CEICSEM).

      During the event will be presented the activities on the implementation of the project “Building Capacity for Educational and Social Inclusion", as well as aspects of policy development to address the social exclusion of representatives of vulnerable and marginalized communities.

      Forum will also be attended by representatives of the Ministry of Education and Science, the Ministry of Labor and Social Policy, lecturers from pedagogical faculties of universities in Bulgaria, non-governmental organizations working in the field of policies to address the social exclusion of representatives of vulnerable and marginalized communities, etc.

      International Youth Centre - Stara Zagora organizes a youth exchange online Mix Academy.. The format consists of six training modules covering the following topics:

• Volunteering (8 February);8 February);
• Civic Education (15 February););
• Presentation in front of a camera(22 February););
• Health and Beauty (1 March););
• Psychology (8 March););
• Personal well-being(15 March).).

All modules start at 19:00.

     The variety of topics of the Mix Academy aims to provoke the interest of young people in different fields. Modules are linked to topical clubs implemented at the Center, which young people can join to further develop their knowledge and skills.

International Youth Center, Photo Uzunovi and Stara Zagora photographers are organizing a charity exhibition and online auction in support of the cause "With Didi I am a step ahead".The charity exhibition is another initiative aimed at supporting the recovery of Diyana Miteva, a young woman from Stara Zagora, who was seriously injured in a road accident in October last year. Behind the idea of the photographer Dimitar Uzunov stood his colleagues and supporters, as well as the team of the International Youth Center.

Within a week and a half, Stara Zagora residents will have the opportunity to support the charity campaign by purchasing photographs from the exhibition, which will be at the following locations: from 22nd to 23rd of January - on the square in front of the Stara Zagora Municipality; from 24th to 28th of January - in the lobby of the Stara Zagora Municipality and from 29th to 30th of January - on the square in front of the Stara Zagora Municipality. There will also be boxes for donations.

Along with the charity exhibition, an online auction will be held on the official website of the campaign "With Didi I'm a Step Ahead" at: https://www.facebook.com/sDIDIsum.

Photographers participating in the initiative will provide a selection of their works with an initial price indicated. The photographs will be posted on the official campaign page on January 24 and the auction will be launched. The conditions for participation in the bidding will also be announced there.

International Youth Centre in Stara Zagora launches training for young people on "Five steps to leadership“. Training will take place in several modules and is open to young people aged between 15 and 29.
